Registration Coming Soon: ISMTE Heads to Montreal!

Last year in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, it was announced that ISMTE’s 2025 Annual Conference would be held in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada, from August 5^th through August 8^th. Even as we closed the meeting for 2024 the excitement of heading to Montreal was palpable, and now we are excited to announce that registration will open at the end of the month!

Early bird registration will include a discount, so be sure to keep an eye on our Save the Date! page and sign up first thing! As in previous years, we are excited to offer attendees a healthy mix of session topics, from career development and wellness to practical educational content around current topics like AI, research integrity, transfer cascades, and journals reporting. Many of our sessions will also feature local, Canadian speakers.

Be sure to join us for our excellent pre-Conference workshop, “Editorial Intelligence: Harnessing AI and LLMs for Smarter Workflows”, led by the phenomenal Chhavi Chauhan and Jay Patel and held on Tuesday, August 5^th.

The hotel block runs from August 1^st through August 13^th, so you can arrive early and/or stay late to enjoy the city of Montreal. The conference hotel is the gorgeous Hotel Bonaventure Montréal in the heart of downtown Montreal, so you won’t want to miss the opportunity to explore all the city has to offer.

Bonus! You can even see Capybaras in Montreal! The Montréal Biodôme is only 20 minutes from the hotel and is home to our favorite (un)official ISMTE mascot!
